Local Studies

Cambridge Library Local Studies is dedicated to collecting, preserving and celebrating the unique history and heritage of the Town of Cambridge.

The Local Studies collection is a valuable source of publicly available information on the environmental, historical, social, cultural and developmental attributes of the area that falls within the boundaries of the Town. The collection contains books, reports, oral histories, photographs, maps, newspaper clippings and other items of local interest. Some are available to loan, but rare and valuable items are kept in the Local Studies office and can be made available by appointment.
