Digital Training

Cambridge Library offers a range of services to help get you online and learning new IT skills. These include:

  • Digital Help sessions
  • Our first sessions begin on the 13th June 2023
  • Taking photos with your smart phone (i-Phone) from 10am until 11am
  • Taking photos with your smart phone (Android) from 11.30am until 12.30pm
  • Bookings are essential as there are limited spaces. Please contact the Library on 9383 8999 or email: library@cambridge.wa.gov.au
  • Tech Twenty sessions (20 minutes free tech help), limit of one session per person per month
  • IT classes ($10 for one hour), limit of three sessions per person per year
  • Free online tutorials to learn at your own pace
  • Coming soon: free monthly group workshops (maximum of six participants per session)

IT classes and Tech Twenty sessions are available to assist you with:

  • Learning basic IT skills e.g. sending and organising emails, searching the Internet
  • Basic device use e.g. getting to know your i-pad or other mobile device
  • Basic software usage e.g. word processing
  • Using Library apps
  • Basic assistance with social media
  • Staying safe online

IT classes and Tech Twenty sessions are not available to assist you with:

  • Online banking and/or buying and selling online
  • Repairs to your hardware or software
  • Internet connection problems
  • Advanced computer advice or software training
  • Job applications

Please note: If you cannot attend a session, we require at least 24 hours notice of your intention to cancel. If less than 24 hours notice is given it will count towards your monthly and/or annual quota.
