Cambridge Notes is a digital database that allows you to search the Local Studies Collection at Cambridge Library.

Searching Cambridge Notes is easy - simply enter your search term in the search box located on the top menu bar.

There are nine themed collections in Cambridge Notes and you can search within one or more of the collections.

A menu of all nine collections appears to the left of the search results. Tick the boxes to select/deselect the collections you would like to search within.  An advanced search option can refine your search by creator, date or subject.

Books of Cambridge 

This collection contains excerpts from books about areas and subjects within the Town of Cambridge.

The idea behind the collection is to highlight these books about the local area and generate awareness of the treasures "between the covers" of the Cambridge Local Studies print collection.

A collection of articles and advertisements published in Cambridge Post and other newspapers relating to Town of Cambridge suburbs.

The collection includes real estate sales advertisements and reports.

Cambridge Remembers

This collection aims to highlight the life and times of the men and women who lived in the Town and served our country in all conflicts.

We put faces to the names of the men on the Fallen Soldiers' Memorial on Cambridge Street, West Leederville.

If you have information about a soldier who served in a conflict or peace time operation and you believe they should be included in this collection please contact the Local Studies Librarian, and if you have a photograph or information about a soldier listed on the memorial in West Leederville we would love to hear from you!
