Weekly Storytime Sessions

Weekly storytime for children are held at the library on Tuesdays and Thursdays (repeat of stories) at 10:30am except during school holidays. During school holidays the library hold activities for older primary school age children and there are also special events during the year such as Children’s Book Week (held in August each year) for which displays and activities are organised. Each storytime session lasts about an hour with action rhymes, stories and then an activity to follow relating to the stories told. All children are welcome, we just ask that they are big enough to sit still during the storytelling part so as not to distract any one else.
