With the wealth of information available on the Internet for parents, where do you begin to look without being overloaded with information? The Town of Cambridge Library has put together this list of useful parenting web sites below to help you get started. In our collection, you will also find a special FAMILY collection at the end of the Young Adult Section to provide you with sound advice and support about common issues such as newborns, handling teenagers and specialised information for those who have children with special needs.

Centrelink - this is the official centrelink site for any information you might need on payments available to parents.
Triple P - (Positive Parenting Program) is the instruction manual all parents should look at.
Kids Life - A comprehensive resource for parents and families, satisfying their information and consumption needs in raising healthy, happy and well-educated children.
Kids Count - Being a parent is the most important job you can do. It also lasts a lifetime.
Family Relationships Online - Family Relationships Online provides all families (whether together or separated) with access to information about family relationship issues, ranging from building better relationships to dispute resolution.
Child and Youth Health - all you need to know about caring for your children.
The Wheatbelt Parenting Information Centre provides a free library service available online to parents across the state who are looing for books or videos on all aspects of parenting. It allows you to borrow up to four items for a period of two weeks. Books and videos are sent out to you free of charge and you will be provided with a reply paid envelope to return the items.
