Recently the ABC held a survey to find Australia’s favourite books.

Cambridge Library has included many of these books on their Great Reads Display. Come in and check it out!
Book Clubs
- Cambridge Library has two book clubs for adults: during the day and the evening.
- Meetings are monthly in the Reading Room.
- The daytime club meets from 2.00pm – 3.00pm on the first Monday of the month.
- The evening club meets from 5.30pm - 6.30 pm on the second Thursday of the month.

Databases for Book Clubs
The Library subscribes to Novelist (from Ebscohost), which could be of interest to book clubs. NoveList provides access to full text reviews, annotations, publication information, subject headings and more for more than 120,000 works of fiction. In addition, this database can recommend similar titles and authors, provide guides for book discussions and more. This database can search for titles by author, title, series or even by plot descriptions. Click here to access Novelist.
